Rump Roast


Ingredients

  • Carrots
  • Potatoes
  • 5 Pound Roast
  • Onion

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 325° F

Salt, pepper and flour bottom foresting pan and let brown in hot oven. Place roast in pan and add water; cover pan and cook slowly, adding water as necessary. Cook about 4 hours for a 5 lb. roast.

Add potatoes, carrots, and onions about 2 hours before done, turning ½ way through.

Remove cover the last hour of cooking to brown meat.
