Combine first four ingredients together in a medium bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl combine egg yolk and beer. Gradually add remaining ingredients and beat till smooth.
Heat oil to 365° in a deep frying pan. Dip chicken first in wet batter, then dry flour, then back to wet, then once more in dry. Fry in oil for 15-18 mins or until golden brown. Drain and serve hot.
