Hershey’s Cocoa Syrup


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Hershey’s Cocoa
  • 1½ Cups Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Cup Hot Water
  • Dash of Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla

Directions

Mix salt, sugar and cocoa in a saucepan. Add enough water to make a paste, then add remaining water and butter. Bring to boil, stirring constantly; boil three minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour at once into a jar. When cool, cover and refrigerate.

Makes 2 Cups
