Buttermilk Griddlecakes


Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1⅔ Cups Flour
  • ¾ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 1½ Teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1⅔ Cups Buttermilk
  • ½ Cup Milk

Directions

In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.

In separate bowl beat together eggs, buttermilk, and milk; blend in melted butter. Add wet ingredients all at once to dry ingredients. Beat until well blended and smooth.

Cook on lightly greased griddle, turning cakes when puffy and full of bubbles (dry around the edges).
