Banana Nut Bread


Ingredients

  • 2-3 Large Very Ripe Bananas
  • 1½ Teaspoons Sour Milk
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1½ Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ Cup Crisco
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Nuts

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350° F

Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda.

Puree bananas in blender. Add remaining ingredients except nuts; blend till smooth. Add nuts and blend 15 seconds longer. Pour over dry ingredients and stir lightly.

Bake in greased bread pan for 55 minutes or until done.
